About St Davids

St Davids is a city in Pembrokeshire, Wales.  It is Britain's smallest city!

St Davids is named after the patron saint of Wales!  The roots go back to the 4th Century when St David himself lived here!

In the heart of St Davids you will find the celtic cross and war memorial garden!  Dating from the 12th Century St Davids cathedral is built from a local stone which has a beautiful grey and pink colouring!  The 13th Century Bishop's Palace is a ruin maintained by CADW and is open to visitors.  Visit the 14th century Tower Gate, the Celtic old cross and a number of art galleries.  If you're looking for some culture then the Oriel y Parc Gallery with its displays of national treaures is well worth a visit!

There are plenty of water sports and walking.  If you fancy a spot of adventure then TYF Adventure provide a range of activities such as coasteering, sea kayaking, climbing and surfing.  You can go on a wildlife watching boat trip, whale and dolphin watching trips or head out to Grassholm Island to see the gannets!  Or maybe to the RSPB site Ramsay Island!
