About Goodwick

Goodwick is a coastal town in Pembrokeshire, south west Wales.  It lies west of its twin town Fishguard.

The main industry is tourism although in the past brick making was once an important industry. 

Goodwick Sands beach is where the defeated French invasion assembled prior to their surrender on 24 February 1797.  Today Goodwick Sands is made up of sand and shingle, sheltered by the backwater and backed by a grassy bank.  It offers safe bathing and is hugely popular with families!  Ocean Lab features ''Ollie the Octopus'', cyber café, ocean quest, coffee shop, a soft play area for under 5's and a tourist information centre. 

Goodwick has shops, pubs and a post office.
