Very Efficient Team!

"Very efficient team! Your driver found us on time, even though the house we were staying at was right at the end of a remote lane. The dispatcher had made a big effort to get all the location details. A pleasant chat on the history of the Lizard area made the journey to Redruth station an education. 5*s!"

About Seaton

Seaton is a seaside town in East Devon, to the west of the mouth of the River Axe and facing onto The English Channel. An interesting geological feature is red cliffs to one side of the town and white cliffs on the other.   There is a mostly shingle beach and a harbour.  Seaton sits on the 96-mile (155 km) long Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage Site, more commonly known as the Jurassic Coast.  Take a walk through 185 million years as you observe the various rock strata transcending three geological periods.   The history is fascinating with a farming community existing here 4,000 years before the arrival of the Romans. There were several Iron Age forts in the vicinity.  Seaton was an important port for several centuries, supplying ships and sailors for Edward I's wars against Scotland and France.   In the 19th century Seaton developed as a holiday resort and many of the town buildings are Victorian. The church on the edge of town was built in the 14th century.
