Very Efficient Team!

"Very efficient team! Your driver found us on time, even though the house we were staying at was right at the end of a remote lane. The dispatcher had made a big effort to get all the location details. A pleasant chat on the history of the Lizard area made the journey to Redruth station an education. 5*s!"

About Cullompton

Cullompton is a town and civil parish in the county of Devon.  The town is known locally as Cully.   In 2010 it had a population of 8,639 as recorded in the 2001 census and is growing rapidly.  There is evidence of occupation from the Roman period – both in a fort on the hill above the town and occupation in the current town centre.   Collumpton (Columtune)  was mentioned in Alfred the Great's will.  Historically the town's economy had a large component of wool and cloth manufacture, then later leather working and paper manufacture.  Today there is still some local manufacturing including paper mills and flour mills, but a large proportion of the working population commute to their work outside of the town.
