Where do your taxis cover?
We cover all of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset at the moment.... and we're currently planning our expansion over Bath & North East Somerset and Wiltshire....... watch this space!!
How much is a taxi and how do you quote?
We have fixed tariffs for all journeys based on the estimated time and distance for each journey which allows us to provide you with a quote quickly and with minimal fuss, so for a advanced quote just send us an enquiry using our Enquiry Form. The banding system followed by our pricing structure is based on a scoring classification which can be found at the bottom of our Terms & Conditions.
When do I have to pay?
If you are a private customer booking a standard taxi journey, you are welcome to pay at the start or end of the journey, it is up to you.
How can I pay?
You must pay the driver with cash, unless your journey is part of a wider contract, which is usually paid one month in arrears on receipt of an invoice from ourselves, and is made either by means of a BACS transfer or cheque payment.
Can I receive a receipt from a cash payment?
All of our business cards are designed especially so that they can also be used as a receipt for services. Please simply ask your driver for a receipt on arrival at your drop-off destination. Please note the cash receipt received from your driver is not a VAT receipt.
What is your refund and complaints policy?
Our refund and complaints policy is in line with our Customer Charter which is displayed throughout this website. If you have cause for complaint, we at Lt TAXIS pride ourselves on investigating your complaint quickly and professionally. We will always look to make reparation, which will usually be in the form of a part or full refund should your complaint be substantiated. See our Terms & Conditions for more details on this.
I've left an item in an Lt TAXIS car, what shall I do?

How can I cancel a booking?
Providing you cancel your booking within a reasonable time frame it is unlikely you will receive any charge for a cancellation. In the instance that a driver has already left for your pick-up address to fulfil your journey, a cancellation fee may be charged. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more information.
Can I get my package insured for more than your standard £500 (Lt TAXIS Courier Service)?
We do not provide insurance for more than £500 for any package. Should you need additional insurance, we recommend you contact a reputable insurance provider in order to meet your insurance needs.
